Which video links work

YouTube, Vimeo or any video file link, and how to get yours.

Your video stays where it already is, so there's nothing to upload and no hosting bill.

YouTube (most popular)

1. Upload your recording and set visibility to Unlisted, so only people with the link can find it.
2. Under *Show more → Allow embedding*, make sure embedding is on.
3. Copy the link (for example https://youtu.be/abc123xyz00) and paste it into Wakebooked.

Vimeo: paste the video link. For private videos, use the link that includes the privacy hash.

A video file: any direct link ending in .mp4 or .m3u8 works (for example from Bunny or Cloudflare Stream).

Video length keeps every viewer in sync and tells us when the showing ends. Enter it as minutes:seconds, like 42:10.

Tip: if a viewer sees "The video didn't load", an ad blocker is usually the cause. The page tells them how to fix it.
